Inspired by the sacred ceremony of Shikinen Sengu at Ise Jingu, prestigious Japanese photographer Masaaki Miyazawa’s debut film is a meditation on our connection with nature. Travelling through deep mountains, sacred forests, and to beautiful coasts to talk with an oyster fisherman, a scientist, a master of carpenter, an architect, a filmmaker and others, Miyazawa unveils a thousand-year-old method of coexistence with nature and reflects on the importance of living sustainably in modern society.
